The Manthorpe SmartVerge® Linear Dry Verge Union (GLV-VU) is a high-quality joint-masking component designed explicitly for the Manthorpe SmartVerge® Linear system. Its primary function is to securely cover and weatherproof the joint where two GLV-LH (Left Hand) or GLV-RH (Right Hand) Linear Verge Units meet or abut each other along the roof gable.
Engineered to solve practical geometry challenges on site, this versatile union piece ensures a tidy, flush finish at junctions. It is particularly vital for roof configurations where the bottom course of slates or tiles is tilted upwards, or at a change of roof pitch, smoothly masking the angle variance while maintaining complete structural integrity.

Installation & System Matching
During installation, it is recommended to leave a small 3mm expansion gap between consecutive Linear Verge Units to accommodate thermal movement in warmer summer temperatures. The GLV-VU Verge Union is hooked directly around the top flange between the verge unit and the roof tile, then pushed firmly over the joint until the internal clips engage securely with both linear units.
