The Manthorpe SmartVerge® Linear Dry Verge Fixing Clip (GLV-FC) is an essential structural accessory designed specifically for use alongside the Manthorpe GLV-LH (Left Hand) and GLV-RH (Right Hand) Linear Verge Units. This universal, high-strength component provides secure additional mechanical fixing points along the roof gable edge, ensuring the entire dry fix system remains robustly anchored against wind uplift.
 
Engineered to fit completely concealed behind the main verge profile, the GLV-FC fixing clip preserves the clean, continuous straight line of the roofline while delivering superior structural reinforcement. It is an ideal solution for both high-quality new build installations and fast-paced refurbishment projects.

Installation & Application Details
The GLV-FC clip is typically fastened directly to an additional timber batten strip fixed securely to the underside of the verge.
Eaves Starter Detail: The first/starter Linear Verge Unit clips firmly over the GLV-FC at the eaves, providing an incredibly secure anchor point right at the base of the run.
Tilted Bottom Course Solution: For roof structures where the bottom course of tiles is tilted upwards, two fixing clips can be used to anchor a neatly cut section of a Linear Verge Unit, with a third clip used to transition into the continuous vertical run.
