Low Pitch specification
For verge to verge and lean to roofs with Rafter pitches between 7-16 deg, and a maximum rafter length of 10 metres. The roof structure should be fully boarded using suitable timber decking. A continuous layer of Stoneleaf Sovereign 330g/m2 underlay installed over the decking, with all laps sealed using the integrated tape. Install Counter battens 38×50mm, vertically over the underlay at centres not exceeding 600 mm. Counter battens to be installed over a self-sealing tape ensuring all fixings are sealed against water ingress. Tile battens of 25×50mm are then be fixed horizontally to the counter battens in accordance with the required gauge for Karat RS tiles, ensuring that each tile is securely clipped. Adequate ventilation shall be provided at both the eaves and the ridge (or top edge)
