Low Pitch specification
For verge to verge and lean to roofs with Rafter pitches between 10-20 deg, and a maximum rafter length of 10 metres. The roof structure should be fully boarded using suitable timber decking. A continuous layer of Stoneleaf Sovereign 330g/m2 underlay installed over the decking, with all laps sealed using the integrated tape. Install Counter battens 38×50mm, vertically over the underlay at centres not exceeding 600 mm. Counter battens to be installed over a self-sealing tape ensuring all fixings are sealed against water ingress. Tile battens of 25×50mm are then be fixed horizontally to the counter battens in accordance with the required gauge for Karat RS tiles, ensuring that each tile is securely clipped.
