Quarried, split, and selected to the highest standards, these slates represents the top tier of natural Chinese slate. Every batch undergoes rigorous sorting to ensure extraordinary regularity in both thickness and dimensional accuracy, dramatically reducing on-site grading time for roofers. 
Featuring a natural, subtle colour variation, the Imperial Premium is verified non-fading, tested to British Standard 12326-2 with W1-S1-T1 results.

Water Absorption: W1 / A1 (0.36%) – Outstanding resistance to frost and water penetration.
Thermal Cycle: T1 – No oxidation, structural changes, or surface rusting.
Sulphur Dioxide Exposure: S1 – Maximum resistance to atmospheric acid rain and urban pollution.
Carbonate Content: 1.0% (Prevents fading and discoloration).
